Sidebar on homepage?

I bought a forum theme from Transverse Styles called Novera and asked John where to edit the sidebar and how to add some custom stuff, but There is very little support if any on there site. He was able to tell me that it was found in the FORUMHOME template.

After I dove in there and didn't know what I was doing I decided to ask here.

I want to add the following to the side bar. What is the code to do this?
