Showing style in post variable
I know that you can post profile information using the $post[fieldX] where X is the number in the profile fields in the ACP. However, I'm curious if there's a way to show what style the user is using. There's a style chosen in the profile fields when viewing a user, but I do not know what field number that is.
I heard that if they use the quick style chooser that it doesn't update in the database? Which would mean that the style information shown wouldn't be accurate. But is there anyway to show the style using anyway using the $post variable? |

I think there is a modification for this. Have you tried a search?

I did try searching, but came up empty. I first posted on vbulletin.com in their forum and they told me to come searching over here, so apparently there is a mod, but I cannot find it. Or else I'm using the wrong terminology.
Edit: I found a version for 3.6, but I'm running 3.8. But this is exactly what I'm looking for. |

Try out that mod on your test site and see if it works, or read the thread and see if anyone has mentioned it working in other versions. Very often mods for 3.6 versions will work just fine in 3.8

Looking through it, it looks like it should work no problem

Thank you so much. I was very hesitant to install something that wasn't confirmed to work on a newer version. Thanks again! Everything is working so far. I even installed the quick select able to change the style and it's working great.

So I spoke too soon. There does seem to be something wrong with it. The style keeps changing randomly and it doesn't keep the style chosen in the user cp.

Hmmm, seems strange. I'm not familiar with the mod at all, so I can't think of why that would happen unless another modification is interferring with it.
