Default Incorrect date for everything today!

OK I dunno wtf happened but today when I got up the date on my forum said July 29 when in reality today is the 28th. I checked the server and it had the incorrect date. Not really sure how the hell this happened but I did see that windows did update the date and time last night so I'm thinking that must have caused it to be incorrect. Perhaps there was an issue with the time server or something I dunno.

In any case now I have a fixed the issue but now all the posts that were made today BEFORE I fixed the issue all show TOMORROWS date. So now that the issue is fixed whenever someone makes a post in a thread that had the incorrect date, their post goes to the top of the thread.

How can I fix this issue aside from manually editing the dateline of every single thread and post that has the incorrect date. Is there perhaps a script that I can run that will subtract 86,400 seconds (24 hours) from all the posts/threads that have the incorrect date?

Any ideas? I have disabled my forum right now until I can get this issue resolved.

When this happened on my site once, I actually did go in and manually change the posts. I tried to only do the ones that were important (like the first post in a thread). I suppose if you went into the database, you could get the postid range for the incorrect time posts and then run a query that only effects the posts within that range. I think I went in and temporarily change the time between posts and the time between searches limits for the day.

OMG this is going to really suck! I'm about to just revert to the last saved backup that I have which is from like 10 hours ago but I really don't wanna do that either

Anymore ideas from anyone else who has been in similar situations?

I doubt anything can be done anymore as the current date-time already catched up with the bad date-time yesterday. Therefor you can not see the difference anymore between posts made yesterday and today.

Next time it is better to leave the server time incorrect until you have found a way to correct the posts made (which is possible).

Yeah your right about that cause I ended up running an sql query that was able to subtract 86400 seconds from all my threads, posts, and joindate's. But since I had already manually edited a lot of them I had to go back and re-manually edit them again. So your definitely right about just leaving it like it is and then doing the entire database all at once.
