There's a big issue of many users not receiving their activation emails in my forums. They've checked inbox and spam but still nothing.

1. Check the server email logs for the users email addresses in question and find out if they failed to deliver.
2. Verify your domain meets the RFC rules, AOL, Yahoo etc are strict for RFC compliant domain names. |

i had the same problem with what SEEMED to be mainly a problem with YAHOO emails. I never figured out a solution

Yahoo have an antispam mechanism which annoys most forum software emailing mechanisms. I recently contacted Yahoo Support about this and this was part of their email response:

check to see if your mail server IP has been blacklisted by RBL lists ...
there is more information on this on this site (search) and it also maybe something that you need to discuss with your hosting provider. |
