Hey guys,
Can someone please tell me the correct settings so I can make a secure forum on my vbulletin forum for all the moderators/admins/supermods to talk? I would hate for someone not in the moderator / supermod / admin team to access this forum. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thankyou. |

Create Forum then go to
Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permission -> Find the "staff only" board then either A) Edit each user groups (besides staff) to deny access to see it B) Deny all, then edit each staff group so they can see it. ALWAYS LOG INTO A TEST USER ACCOUNT TO MAKE SURE THEY CAN'T SEE IT. --------------- Added [DATE]1241359977[/DATE] at [TIME]1241359977[/TIME] --------------- Also, another route if you're interested..... We use tabs on our site to seperate "game" and "social" boards... we just created a staff tab that only users can see (still have to edit forum permissions though) HTML Code:
<if condition="$bbuserinfo['usergroupid'] == 5 OR $bbuserinfo['usergroupid'] == 6"><li><a href="forumdisplay.php?f=32">Staff Boards</a></li></if> |
