how can i make my site have different icons like this site: http://www.sideline-sports.com/
you know for each different section he has different icons (NFL,NHL,NCAA, etc)...
i would like that for my site possibly, please help thanks!

Well, I've never done that, but looking at the page source I'd guess he did a simple condition:

Pretty cool...Thanks for posting this. And here's the file. Just unzip it and upload the product, and do a few quick template edits. I can't seem to find it on here anymore.. but I just downloaded it the other day, so this is why i'm uploading it. It's a quick simple install.

It's a 3.5 mod, but it works only anything above it. I'm running 3.8.1.

I wasn't redistributing it. I typed in Custom Forum Status Icons in the search box, and couldn't find it for the life of me. And I realized I had just downloaded it the other day. I checked my desktop and there it was.

I can't seem to find it on here anymore.. but I just downloaded it the other day.

I didn't take any credit in my post. I was just trying to make it easy for him to download and take a look at, then having to go search for it...I couldn't find it. Just trying to be nice.

You can't just post it in the thread though. What if the author decides to pull his modification and you have it here? We can't go search it out. You can post a link to the thread, but you can't post the modification itself.

(If you click Install on a mod, it shows up under User CP > Installed Modifications.)

if you are referring to forum status images..

when editing/adding a forum an option is available to use your own images

here's a short description:

Forum Status images are usually shown alongside the forum in a forum listings to indicate the read status.

This prefix must only contain alphanumerical characters, though the following are also allowed - _ / ., a folder name is also acceptable to be placed within the status icon directory.

The following images are currently in use for status icons, you will need to create images with the specified prefix to match.

• forum_link.gif
• forum_new.gif
• forum_new_lock.gif
• forum_old.gif
• forum_old_lock.gif

This very much interests me. I found the field in my admin panel, but I was wondering what I would need to type in it as the instructions don't given an example. I might be showing my stupid side a bit here but if you or someone would kindly just give me an example of what I need to type in that field, I'd be grateful.
