I am having issues with my RSS Post feature not posting automatically. It works when I manually run it but it just doesn't seem to be taking on its own. I have redone the RSS feed and still no go. What settings do I have to have for the task to run on its own? Just want to compare it to my own settings. Thanks in advance!

Did you get this to work?
I'm having an issue with my 3.8.4 fresh install. It won't pull on its own. Last update on 9.14.09 when I clicked manual now. I must be missing something. Any thoughts or suggestions? |

Do you have the Scheduled Task on? Are they running at all?

Does vB come with it automatically defaulted at "on"? If so, then it should be running as I haven't done anything to change it.
I just got some help on another site and they said that it could be that I'm not getting enough traffic to generate the cron job to start. So, hopefully that's it and it'll kick in soon enough ![]() My site is new and I'm still building it, so it could be that I guess. |

I think it comes set as on. But, they are right in that if you don't have much traffic, it's not going to get triggered. Just go onto your site and do a whole lot of clicking around and see if the Scheduled Tasks get run (look in the Scheduled Task Manager and see if the times change).
