How can I add this to my website?
I have been having a tough time finding out about this photo rotating add-on on this website: (at the top)
http://www.msubearnation.com/forum/index.php I see the Photobucket logo on the end and if you click a picture you go to Photobucket. I looked all around the Photobucket website and could find nothing refering to it? Where does this flash add-on come from. I was told by the person that did the skin, they had nothing to do with it. I want to add this to my Forum, but I just don't know where to start. I want this exact application. Someone must know something about it or where I can inquire further, thanks Jerry in KC http://kcHamRadio.com |

you have tough time finding it because you did not understand the code in the html:
HTML Code:
<br /> <div style="width:100%; text-align: center;"><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://w41.photobucket.com/pbwidget.swf?pbwurl=http://w41.photobucket.com/albums/e268/MSUBear42/8bd019e1.pbw" height="120" width="100%"></div> <br /> ask the site owner... or follow the link in the rotator... |

I looked at all the apps available on Photobucket and none of them look like this, but the Photobucket logo is on the app while it runs?
I could try to add that html code into my index page at about the same spot and see what happens. I was hoping this app was somewhere with specific instructions on adding it to a website. I have tried sending email to the website that has it, with no luck . . . Maybe someone else will know something more, thanks Jerry in KC --------------- Added [DATE]1238078003[/DATE] at [TIME]1238078003[/TIME] --------------- |

I designed that site and installed the slideshow, which is a simple slideshow by Photobucket.
On the photobucket site (you must be a member with an album there) you add all of the pics you want to the slideshow, then make a few simple selections, and it makes the slideshow for you. You copy the html code, place it in the navbar template, and waa laa! That's all there is to it. |

Thanks to everyone for the info on this feature. It's something that I'd certainly like to use on my forum.
However, I'd like it to show only of the first page when anyone visits the site. In the header or the Navbar, it's always there. I did a search, trying to find out how to do this, but obviously am searching incorrectly. Although I've seen it done before, I can't remember what the code was. TIA |

I know this post is a bit old, but to answer LorinPotter's question and help anyone else who may be wondering - in order for the slideshow to show only on forumhome, you would add the photobucket code to the forumhome template. If you want it below the navbar, find $navbar, and place it below that.
