You can't use php code in your template!

You'll have to put the php code into a own php file.

Seriously?! .. Crap, then my modification won't work? .. Unless I put it in a separate .PHP file, and just call it? (include it)

how can I include another .PHP file? the easiest way.. preferably not using plugins.

You have to use plugins or a own php page.

I'm sure there is no other way.
