Test forums
Hi,
I've seen on here several times people say they have tried mods out on their test forums. How do you get a test forum? Do you just upload vBulletin onto your server in two separate directories and use one for testing? Thanks, Deb |

Create a "testvb" directory and upload vBulletin there.
Password protect this directory with .htaccess so public can not access it. Create a new database to run the test forum from. |

You can also install vbulletin on your computer
first you will need wamp http://www.wampserver.com then copy the vbulletin installation files to C:\wamp\www (assuming wamp is installed on c drive) follow the vbulletin installation instructions to install http://localhost is where the forum will be located http://localhost/install/install.php is where you will go to run the installation script |
