You have a background on your skin, so I'm not sure what you mean.
If you want to read up on css background properties, see this link - CSS Background Properties |

you can always use
background-image: url(path/to/image); you can use fixed or scrolling for attachment as well and the postion using pixels. |

Ok first go to your admincp and selectt the styles & templates button on the left. there in the scrolling section. Next click on the option title style manager. Bow a new page will load in the center display shwoing all your skins. Next you would click the go button next to the dropdown list that is to the far right of your skins name. By default the list says all style options. This will open a new page in the center area with your header header include and footer template being displayed. Scroll to the near bottom and find a textarea with a title called additional css definitions. Add that to the bottom of the list. Be sure to have the id or class name.
If its an id it would be #idname { background-image: url (images/misc/mypic.gif); } or a class it would be .classname { background-image: url (images/misc/mypic.gif); } Please tell me what it is your trying to do are you making a new header image or changing a catagories color? |

If its for the skin you need to do so under the the all style options that i told you about above find a section called body. you`ll see a textbox called background thats where you will need to add the info but it works diffrently there.
You will type the color first so heres what it looks like in mine. #FFFFFF url(images/freshblue/misc/container_bg.png) no ending ; is needed To change the color/image for the pages where your forums are seen use the page background section |
