Default What kind of dog is this??

She's another stray we found on our property... I dont get how she could have gotten in our tack room though... its pretty remote, its off the back side of the barn and I have it full of storage stuff because we dont have any horses ATM. She was stuck in there whimpering and whining. DH was in the barn and heard her.

She is soooooo so so so cute, likes, no loves to be held. Shes so malnourished. Skin and bones and her stomach is really distended. She pigged out, all I had was dry dog food so I wet it down, she was shaking so bad, still is some. She probably hadn't eaten in days.

Best I can tell is she is part or full dalmatian. I cant really find any pictures online of a dalmatian with full patches like she has though. They'd refer to some of the patches as liver spots. Shes got two brown patches on her back but the rest is all black and white. Shes real pink like a dalmatian too.

She is just so adorable, DH says he doesnt know if we will keep her yet... little does he know! HAHAHAHAHA He just says that because we just picked up a stray 2 months ago. LOL

What do you think? I'm NOT good with the whole breed thing.

Agh, she has worms. grrrrr. Poor little thing.

We live across from the humane society (they're two propertes down but its about a half mile) and I think maybe people drop animals here thinking we are the humane society (I live in a rural area) or they drop them off at night at the humane society and the animals make their way here.

So sad... Worms can cause malnutrition if theres a bad infestation. So so so sad. I just went and checked on her in her basket. I let her out and she released herself on my floor. haha, the joys. I really hope theres nothing else wrong with her. I want to keep her. hehe

I really hate people, but I wont get into that...

Well hopefully you can get everything sorted. Might be a good idea to take her to the vet soon if you're going to keep her, better to diagnose her condition before things get worse...

She is really cute. If you're not gonna keep her you can ship her to me

I hope she's gonna be ok, give her a pet from me.

As for the breed, I wouldn't be sure. It looks like there is maybe some labrador in there going by the shape of the head. I'm no expert though so I'm probably wrong.

My wife works at a large Animal Rescue, about 1500 dogs and cats plus numerous horses on 28 acres. They are remote and off the beaten path. They also have 24 hour security. However people still tie animals on the fences and leave them there.

The place she works at doesn't adopt out though. Even if they did most of the animals there aren't adoptable since they are wild and feral. Some don't even like people. The center just provides a home for the animals, have full time vet care and a hospital on the premises and so forth. She spends most of her days medicating about 90 cats.

Sort of looks like a mix between a bulldog and a Shitsu.
