Directory Structure Help
I need some assistance. I've having issues installing Mods. And the main reason I believe is because I'm not putting the files in the right folders. Can someone please break it down for me. The instructions will say upload the contents of the upload folder to your forums folder. So I take the contents of the admincp folder and transfer those to my forums/admincp folder. But if there is a single php file is also in that folder, I don't know where it goes. Also, if a folder that has things I need to upload does not have a matching folder in my directory I don't know what to do. I am beyond frustrated at this point. I've added several mods to my board, but it's hit or miss and taking up way too much time because I am not understanding this basic step. All help is appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, heres how it goes, lets assume you have http://yoursite.com/forums/
Your forum root folder is /forums/ (sometimes it may appears like public_html/forums. or httpdocs/forums/) If a modification says upload the files to the forum root, in your ftp program, simply drag all the files and drop them over to the side where you have your forum root folder opened. Thats all there is to it, you dont need to do each folder one at a time, and if your missing the folder, then simply proceed as instructed above with dragging and dropping the contents of the modification into the forum root and it will be created for you. |

You'll have better luck asking in the release thread for the mod you have questions about.
