Default Hack to Ban User(s) From Particular Forum(s)

Hack to Ban User(s) From Particular Forum(s)

Hello.

I tried to Find to the Mods's Forums a Hack that allows Admins to Ban a User from a Forum but I didn't Find it, perhaps I was searching with the wrog keywords.

I know (and I have it installed), that there is a Mod to Ban Users From Threads, but I'd like to know if there is a Mod that can be used to Ban User(s) from Specific Forum(s)?

I'd Appreciate if some vB.org Member can Point me in the right direction and provide me the Link to the Hack that does this (if it exists), and if this Mod doesn't exist then I leave the Idea here in case some Coder would like to Develop this Mod and Share it with the Community.

My Best Regards.

This can natively be done with vBulletin. In the ACP, search for the user, go to edit the user and then select "Edit Forum Permission (Access Masks)" in the Quick User Links section. Choose your permissions and save.

Additional to the Native Function that vBulletin has, I think it'd be really nice to have an option on the "Forum Tools" menu that says "Banned Users" and when you click it it directs you to a Page where the Banned Users are listed, perhaps separated by commas, and then if you'd like to add an user it'd be as easy as including the user's name in the list (like on the PMs that when you include the name the forum helps you by displaying users with the typed characters), and then when Clicking the "Save" Button i'd check the Usernames to verify that the usernames are Ok and then make the Changes on the permissions for those Users Not to Access that Specific Forum.

I think that'd be a Great Idea for a Hack, right??

And of course all the other Tools you can think of to be able to Manage all this Info and processes in the Forums (for Admins) as well as in the Admin Control Panel.

My Best Regards, I Hope some Coder would Develop this.
