2 Questions.

1) Is it possible to send an automatic PM when a thread is closed in a certain forum?

2) Is is possible to password protect certain threads not the whole forum?

1) Possible - yes, just about anything is possible if you code it. Is it available as default vBulltein? No. You would have to find a modification for this or write one yourself.

2) Same answer as above.

Do such mods exist? It seems like Ive been searching for hours and havnt found anything related.

I've seen both of those ideas brought up several times. In fact the one about sending a PM after closing a thread was very recently brought up again. I have no idea if anyone posted a modification for it or posted code in the thread or what.

I'm just wondering why you need to password protect certain threads only? Could you tell us, maybe there's another solution?
