Please take a look at my forum and give me some feedback as to what I can do to improve my site. I have "forums block" and don't know what else I should do with it.

nice front end and suits your board well.
Mums come from all walks of lifes so are you not restricting your board by just limiting yourself to one section of the population ?

I think your main forum looks very nice, clean and simple, very easy to read with nice colors. However, your main page looks cluttered, a stark contrast to your forum's first impression.

Good job and looks like your forum is doing very well

at the opposite of lasto, i think you have a great target by limiting the public to muslim moms... your site is gorgeous, your topics are well balanced. (lasto, having a target is good, muslim only does not mean non-muslim can not visit... remember how much % of the population on earth is muslim, and you will face a large band of possible visitors for this forum)

the only negative detail would be the forum icons, would be great to have a real set of icons because the default vBulletin ones are breaking the mood of your site. (nobody like them anyway)

lasto: Thank you. Although it is a Muslim moms site, all are welcome. I do have non-Muslims that are regulars.

GSeybold: Thank you. Yes, I was thinking about doing something with the Homepage. Maybe I have too much going on?

nexialys: Thank you for your input. I agree with having a target audience. You are correct the icons dont belong there. I just had an upgrade and my actual icons disappeared, which I am in the process of recovering. I actually have tea cups (some empty and others with steam coming out of them).

Anyone else wanting to comment, please do so. It will be much appreciated.

Hello

I like the colorful boxes of the Kids Zone, Teen Zone ect... but they and the advertising to the right creates the clutter. Maybe direct your viewers to those links with tabs or something like that? Maybe use the same colors for tabs? That would be pretty and cut down on clutter? Also, the "r" is missing in the "register" link in the header.

Also, although I'm not a Muslim, and I do sympathize with the Arab/Israeli conflict, the 'Boycott Israel" box creates a more political agenda tone to your forum and sort of spoils it for me as I would want to come to a Mother's forum for peace not a sad, stressful reminder of a terribly painful conflict. I hope you don't mind me stating this.

Thank you for your input. I will surely see what I can do to make it look less cluttered.

I don't mind you stating your opinion. The forum is filled with very friendly and welcoming sisters. We have nonMulisms (Christians and Jews) on the forum as well and they feel welcome there. The "Boycott Isreal" may sound political, but it was a post made by a member to help save lives. This is the little that we can do to help stop the suffering.

All women are welcome at the forum. You are welcome to stop by any time.
