Is there a way to manipulate the stock vB permissions and or user groups in such a way that will allow only the thread starter be able to reply to the thread? I want this only in a specific forum, not forum wide.

If not, does anyone know of an add-on that would allow this? vBdiary looked promising but doesn't seem to be even close to functional yet. I don't have high hopes considering it was conceived in 2006.
