Remove Forum Last Post Etc
Here's an example:
http://img217.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenys6.jpg Basically, I have removed the top bar. But I would like to add it to the other forums. What code/template do I need? Thank you. |

I cannot tell what you want to do. But, if you are wondering what template something is in, this may help - vboptions > General Settings > Add Template Name in HTML Comments > set to Yes . Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code.

Thanks, but I will try and explain a little clearer.
I have removed the : Forum - Last Post - Threads - Posts that sit above the forums here: http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/9876/67681350xv2.jpg So now it looks like this, which is what I want: http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/563/89008626pp6.jpg However, how can I add the Forum - Last Post - Threads - Posts to another catergory, ie: http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/852/34556935ij3.jpg |

Are different templates used to spit out the category header for "PC Info Base" vs. "Main Category"? If so, just add the code that you took out (from the first image) into the template that is used by the Main Category.

No, I believe that they both come from forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost

Hmmm, then it seems you may have to put in a condition in order to spit out that table header. Something like:
HTML Code:
<if condition="in_array($foruminfo['forumid'], array(1,2,3))"> html for table header if the forum is id 1,2, or 3 </if> |

Ah brilliant, so it would read like:
<if condition="in_array($foruminfo['forumid'], array(1,2,3))"> <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center"> <thead> <tr align="center"> <td class="thead"> </td> <td class="thead" width="100%" align="$stylevar[left]">$vbphrase[forum]</td> <td class="thead">$vbphrase[last_post]</td> <td class="thead">$vbphrase[threads]</td> <td class="thead">$vbphrase[posts]</td> <if condition="$vboptions['showmoderatorcolumn']"> <td class="thead">$vbphrase[moderator]</td> </if> </tr> </thead> </if> What template will this fit into? |

It would go into the same template that spits out the category strip - I think you said it was 'forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost'. It may already have the <table>, so you may only have to add the stuff in the <thead> tags.

Right, I tried playing around with that but it wasnt working.
I did some more research and found this: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=121427 This worked for me, so I didn't need that conditional. However I still want it removed from the 'pbc info' category in that picture I linked to. So who can I have it in some and not it others? |
