Is there any hack that can show local weather in vbulletin?

Dozens probably. It just depends on what you want to show and where. Maybe start by looking into Side Columns or VBAdvanced.

Can you point to these dozens? I've looked and could only find old one for 3.6

how about the other dozens? side columns is quite alot more then a simple weather hack.

The OP just asked if it was possible, they never specified how it was to be done.

I have a free weather thingie on my homepage from Accuweather, so the first thing I thought of was a simple way to paste that HTML code into the forum. Those two examples popped to mind, as both offer a way to do that.

Perhaps you're looking for a robotic RSS feed post? Or a banner ad mod (most allow HTML code)? You need to get creative.

Interesting. Yes, I see it requires several functions on the server, you may want to write your host and ask if you have (or can get) those.

Keep us advised. If it's a simple mod to install (and it works), I'll try it myself for a while.

I have all the correct permissions and still not working. hoping its not because I have 3.7
