Editing the default nav bar

I have been able to edit just about everything in vbulletin.

Maybe I am tired or something, but I cannot seem to locate the file or the template that contains the default blue nav bar that contains register, faq, member list, and so on.

Can someone tell what I need to edit so that I can change the color?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

In the default style, those are all in the navbar template.

For example, in this forum. You see User CP, Help.... the background is Blue. That is what I cannot seem to change. I can edit the fonts and all that jazz, but for some reason I cannot successfully edit the color.

Looking at the link you posted... it is #3 that I am wanting to change.

My site has all of my colors that I want to use, but I cannot seem to find the place to actually edit/change the color

Yes, it should be #3. You can double-check by looking at the class used for the links (vbmenu_control is the default class).

I am sorry asking again, but apparently coffee (morning coffee) is not working for me either.

If I want to change the color, do I admin control panel? or do I create a .gif and upload? if .gif, what is the name of the .gif that I would be replacing?

I just need to know exactly what to touch in order to change the color.

You need to change the color in your Style Manager > find your style in the list > select main CSS from the drop-down. Then, find the class vbmenu_control (it happens to be under the heading of Popup Menu Controls, but you can see the class under CSS Selector: .vbmenu_control) and change it in the background. Put a color in there, or a url to the background gif. Here is an example for one of mine:

#E4E7F5 url(images/gradients/gradient_panel.gif) repeat-x top left

you can google "css background" to find more css options.
