I can't tell what it is you want to change the width of, but it's a skin problem as you noted. You should be asking the question in the thread/forum where you got the style. They are the ones who modified the templates and would know what they changed and what you can do to modify it the way you want.

It is a custom skin which I am fixing up to post in the styles section so other people can use it and the place where I got it done is closed down.

Then go back to your page and view the source code and you will see the name of the template called around your part of the code. Then, go into the template and you can set those widths - like 5%, 45%, 30%, 10%, 10% or whatever you want.
