Hi guys,
Im a newbie compared to most people here, so please help out, i have a vbulletin forum on which when i log in i enter the username and password, but i cant get in , the board doesnt seem to log me or anyone in,

I uploaded the fix_login.php to the directory where the forum is and then when i ran the script i get this: VB_AREA and THIS_SCRIPT must be defined to continue

I do not know how to resolve this, but i need help to sort this out pleas,

Pls give detailed help as im not a PRO

What do you mean by it "doesn't log anyone in"?

ok wat happened is i bought a new domain name and to which i wanted to move the whole forum to, as i used the same hosting space for the current one all the files were automatically transferred to the new domain name as well,

Now the original domain works perfect, the other one, if i the admin logs in, it says welcome to the board,,,,,,, but then returns u to the index page not logged in at all,

So thats why i tried the fix_login.php script, but i got the error mentioned above,

So currently forum is alive on original domain but on the new one no one is able to log in..

What do you have set for vboptions > cookies etc > cookie domain and path to save cookies?
