Show notice to inactive members

I know that there is such a mod, using which you can show a certain message under the navbar to inactive members, in order to incite them to start posting. I just can't seem to find it. Can anyone of you, please be kind enough, to help me out and either give me a link or the name of such a hack.

I'm currently using vBulletin 3.7.3 PL 1.

Just found out that 'Notices' feature in 3.7 allows you to do that same but now I've run in to another error.

I'm trying to use the Notices features of VB and it doesn't get displayed to my forum members. I thought it might be related to a forum template issue, so I tested it on a completely new template and still nothing.

How can I correct this?

Check the navbar template, it should have a section for notices (it's commented, so you'll see it).

It's there but it's not working.

Make sure you have the notice active and persistant to test with and that you are in the usergroup you want to see it.

Do you just want something to send to inactive users?

You can always use the "Email Inactive Users" modification.
