OK I am getting DELUGED by new registrations, usually from Gmail
they are being validated through email, and then someone actually put porn and popups on my site !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So after deleting the post, and the user, I created an intermediate class, where every post is modded, so i can weed out the spammers, but im getting 25-100 registrations a day, can I make it so when people are validated, they go to the intermediate class instead of registered users?

Just change the registered users usergroup to the moderated one, and then a "regular" usergroup.

Would I not have to mod every post from the existing members?

I have about 1250 users, how would I migrate all of them to the regular ?

Most boards use a setup where users are promoted to a new usergroup without moderation after X posts. See Usergroup Promotions
