My forum has recently become overrun by spam. I just keep up anymore! Any advice on mass removal of spam, e.g. every post by a particular user? What about prevention? My board at http://www.homevet.com/forum/ uses vB 3.5.4.
TIA. Jeff |

Do a search in this forum for "spam" in the title and you'll get lots of threads with advice.

Lynne I had already searched and most of what I found was not relevant, which is why I posted. |

Hmmm, well I know I used to always post about my two favorite spam hacks everytime spam threads came up but finally got sick of always posting the same thing - I can't remember the exact names, something like IsBot and One-Touch Ban.

Yes, I did know that. I was saddened when I heard the news.
