My website (www.study-medicine.co.uk ) uses iframes to display the navbar and main forum pages independently .

I?m having one big final problem getting it working, when a user logs in, the login redirect panel appears in the navbar iframe. I can make it load in the correct frame (where the forum will appear) by adding the code target=?centre? (the name and id of the iframe) to the login script in the navbar template. However, this causes the navbar to load in the main page frame when it redirects.

In summary I somehow need to stop the login redirect from loading the navbar and cause it to load the forum homepage instead. It also needs to refresh the navbar in the other iframe.

As the tree said to the lumberjack, ?I?m stumped?.

Why use an iframe? Why not just substitute the original code in vbulletin with the source code from the iframe.

It just works well with the direction the site is meant to be going in. They complicate things getting them working but properly implemented they can save a lot of trouble later on.

Well you are going to have to think of something, because due to your IFrame the login is posting the information to the location the IFrame is pointing. Therefor you can't actually login. So remove the IFrame and I bet it will work.

I can login fine, unless I'm missing something? Create an account if you want and give it a go.
