Users table
If I add a new column to the users table, what files do I need to change to ensure that scripts aren't broken.
I am currently have problems with the register.php after creating this column. The error results in the traditional "internal server error: 500". |

It's the "user" table, not "users" table. Could that be your problem?
Also, depending on what you are doing, you may have to rebuild the bitfields I think. |

Adding an extra column should affect a script, vBulletin will just ignore the columns it doesn't use. (Unless told to do so through Plugins).
If you are receiving an internal server error its probably best to contact your host if, you cannot find out what the error is, maybe they can help you. There is very little we can do without knowing the actual error. |

The issue was class_user dm fie. Had to set the new column's "required" to no. This fixed the issue.
