Urgent: I have lost access to my forum.
How can I:
1) Reset my password on my vB account on my forum? or 2) Change the pasword through the FTP? Thanks. |

Forgot psasword isn't an option.
Long explanation: Basically, the link was broken, I fixed it. But now with this database reset, it went back to the old 'messed up' setting. So I can't do that, adn I can't log in. |

ok.. if you have cpanel the use phpmyadmin to edit the database settings.

On my cpanel I have to click on mysql databases then on phpmyadmin at the bottom of that page.

You can't reset the password via. phpMyAdmin alone, you'd need to generate the password hash first. Otherwise any password check would fail...
Is it possible for you register another account on your forum? If so:
