I am getting this message whenever trying to reply to a post on my site?

Anybody know how to solve this?

Try disabling your plugins and then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

If you still get it, create a new style - Style Manager > Create New Style > put No Parent for the parent and then browse your site with this. The new style you just created is a totally default style. See if you have the same problems on your site using it.

Okay.

I disabled all plug ins. Problem still exists.

Where are the PHP config files found?

What version of vBulletin are you running? Have you upgraded recently?

I am trying everything. I was on release candidate 2.

I have downloaded and uploaded 3.7.2.

Here comes the stupid question.

There are three forum folders on my server (I did not create this site..I took it over) one is forums, one is forums37 and one is forums OLD.

I upgraded the forums folder and the site is still showing release candidate 2 at the bottom of the forum page.

Is there something I need to do to "start" or point something to the new upload.

I am absolutely new to this....I never had an FTP client until last night!

Any gentle help would be appreciated.

When you did the upgrade, did you both replace all the files *and* run the upgrade.php script?

I am having the same problem. I upgraded from 3.6.8 to 3.7.3 and now the shoutbox won't load and I can't post anything. I get the error

security_token_missing

When it was running the install.php script everything went fine until the end. It said it had finished and I was happy, but then I didn't know if I should just close the window or click the button that was there that said "continue", so I clicked continue, and it started to reinstall again. At that point I closed the window and checked the site and found these problems.

I inactivated my plugins by unchecking the active boxes in the control panel and still have the same errors.

Any advice would be welcome.

For help with the security token issue in your shoutbox, you need to go read the shoutbox modification thread to see if this issue has already been addressed and if not, post in the modification thread to ask for help fixing this issue.

Ok, that makes sense but I still have that error when I try to post anything.
