I'd like to set it so that a forum (and its children) are able to be moderated (basically, give "move thread" permissions) to anyone who belongs to a specific group.
Is there a way to do this, or do I have to add each user as a moderator (with appropriate permissions) to the parent forum? |

Put them in their own usergroup then change just that usergroup to have the "extra" permissions in the required forums.
AdminCP > Usergroups > Add New Usergroup AdminCP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions |

Can you tell me specifically what permission on the Forum Permissions page would allow a user (or group) to move a thread? I see nothing like that on my screen.
I see them being allowed to "Move Own Threads" but thats not moderation. I want them to be able to move anyone's threads. |
