Is that not just one category with forums inside, like most VB setups, except that they have image links instead of text, oh and some sub forums?

You need a mod to Arrange forums in Columns on forum home. There is one from 3.5 from Xenon that still works with 3.7 just fine.

After that you'll need to modify and customize it to meet your needs.

THanks FRDS. I will give it a try. I saw that they use images and not the forum name. How did they do that? Also how did they manage to display the latest post?
