Prefix 'cloud' or "prefix sort" visible at the top of the thread display list?

Prefixes are good but to put them to good use I really need an easy click solution that is really easy to find & right in front of you. The sort display option at the bottom of the forum page is good.. but is more of a power user trick. its too hidden down there..

How can I bring "sort by prefixes" to the masses?

If you use the "Notices" feature of 3.7 you could create a notice which has the sort links. (As long as you don't have too many prefixes you could do it manually).

X - Forum ID
Y - Prefix ID
Z - Prefix Name

I remember seeing a modification that moves the sorting options above the thread list, you could maybe use that to enable people to sort better.
