In search of a store...

I have searched the forum and Google for a while now and I haven't been able to find any recent information that I am looking for. Please feel free to move this post if I have posted in the wrong area.

Does anyone know of a Vbulletin store mod/add-on/plug-in? I've been able to find a few "products" but they all seem to be pretty aged and not exactly what I am looking for.

I will not be selling anything (no money coming in) but instead I would like to incorporate a store into Vbulletin that is based on "loyalty points" as the currency.

For example, each member will have x number of loyalty points that they can redeem for whatever products I have put in the store.

They could earn these points based on # of posts or any other criteria to be determined.

Ideally, each member of my forum would be able to access the store through Vbulletin (thus already being logged in) and request whatever products they'd like. The points would then be deducted from their loyalty point balance. I would then get an email notification of the "order" so that I could process it accordingly.

Is anyone aware of something like this existing? If not, can anyone point me in the right direction to somewhere I can pay someone to implement something like this?

You will find that a difficult mod, as its quite specific.

But.

You could use, VBExperience by Phalynx.

It has a scoring rewards system, based on posts threeads thanks infractions, etc etc etc

+ it has a built in shop.

There is nothing to stop you propogating the shop with virtual items, that can be purchased by your users, and then you could switch the virtual item to a real world purchase.

We use this exact system, for people to buy goodies from the shop, but could quite easily be changed so that you can then supply actual items for the items in your shop.

Full category set up and pricing is avail ( based on lots of criteria )

Would just take some tweaking.
