how can useing gmail for sending email

i want to use gmail for send my emails ...

i fill these fields like this ...

in vb option>email setting>SMTP Email
SMTP Host : SMTP.gmail.com
SMTP Port : 465
SMTP Username : name@gmail.com
SMTP Password : my pass
SMTP Secure Connection : checked yes ...

where is the problem?
i check it from here :

Admin CP > Maintenance > Diagnostics > Test Email

it told me:

The mailing function returned an error while trying to send the mail.

I don't think you can use Gmail. At least I have never heard of anyone using a gmail or anything other free email accounts to send emails from their sites.

I believe you need a SMTP server of your own to send emails this way, something you're best talking to you're host about.

i know this freind ...

but i have a problem ...

each time i sent an email to all of my users yahoo or google marked us as spamers ...
and our server asmin told us you cannot use of this option in our server ...
is there any way else to send email from another SMTP address?

can you give me some links?
