Last Post/Threads/Post Columns Misaligned
Hello,
On this page, notice how the "Official WCA Competitions" subforum has the Last Post/Threads/Post Columns misaligned. Is there is quick fix for this? The support forum for the skin is no longer open, so I was wondering if it was something I could try fixing myself. How would I go about resolving the problem? Thanks in advance. |

Hello,
That didn't work. Here is my forumhome template at the part he said to correct: Code:
<tr align="center"> <td class="thead" width="30"> </td> <td class="thead" align="$stylevar[left]" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[forum]</td> <td class="thead" width="<if condition="is_numeric($stylevar[outertablewidth])">200<else />250</if>" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[last_post]</td> <td class="thead" width="60" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[threads]</td> <td class="thead" width="50" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[posts]</td> </tr> Code:
</table> <if condition="$show['subforums']"> <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center" style="margin-bottom: 10px;"> <thead> <tr> <td class="tcat" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions[showmoderatorcolumn]">6<else />5</if>"> <a style="float:$stylevar[right]" href="#top" onclick="return toggle_collapse('forumbit_$forumid')"><img id="collapseimg_forumbit_$forumid" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/collapse_tcat{$collapseimg_forumid}.gif" alt="" border="0" /></a> <a href="forumdisplay.php?$session[sessionurl]f=$forum[forumid]">$forum[title]</a> <if condition="$show['forumdescription']"><div class="smallfont">$forum[description]</div></if> <if condition="$show['subforums']"><div class="smallfont"><strong>$vbphrase[subforums]</strong>: $forum[subforums]</div></if> </td> </tr> </thead> <else /> <ca-hdr> <td class="tcat" width="100%"> <a style="float:$stylevar[right]" href="#top" onclick="return toggle_collapse('forumbit_$forumid')"><img id="collapseimg_forumbit_$forumid" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/collapse_tcat{$collapseimg_forumid}.gif" alt="" border="0" /></a> <a href="forumdisplay.php?$session[sessionurl]f=$forum[forumid]">$forum[title]</a> </td> </ca-hdr> <table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" border="0" width="100%" align="center" style="margin-bottom: 10px; border-top-width: 0;"> </if> <tbody> <tr align="center"> <td class="thead" width="30"> </td> <td class="thead" align="$stylevar[left]" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[forum]</td> <td class="thead" width="<if condition="is_numeric($stylevar[outertablewidth])">200<else />250</if>" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[last_post]</td> <td class="thead" width="60" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[threads]</td> <td class="thead" width="50" nowrap="nowrap">$vbphrase[posts]</td> <if condition="$vboptions['showmoderatorcolumn']"> <td class="thead" width="0%">$vbphrase[moderator]</td> </if> </tr> </tbody> <if condition="$childforumbits"> <tbody id="collapseobj_forumbit_$forumid" style="{$collapseobj_forumid}"> $childforumbits </tbody> </if> |

Tables will always stretch to display all the data inside them. You need to set a width that will be more than the width of any data.

So what width should I use? Can you please post the code? Thanks

I don't know what width you should use. You need to find a width that will be longer than the truncate point.

1) Am I editing this part of the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost template:?
Code:
<td class="thead" width="0%">$vbphrase[moderator]</td> 3) How do I find a width that will be longer than the truncate point? 4) What is the truncate point? |
