Local installation of vB
I am running Win XP and would like to install vB on my local machine to play around with some of the templates and graphics. Does anyone know of a guide on doing this? I have tried looking but I haven't been able to find one.
Thanks, John |

You could download xampp (google it), install it. Then copy the extracted vBulletin files to the "htdocs" (as though you were uploading them), fill out the config info. Then and follow normal installation procedures. (You will be able to access it through http://localhost/ in your browser)

Thanks for the advice. I've just downloaded the windows version, and I'm sure I will come right from there.
