Does someone know of a way to ban @*.cn emails? I have a very specific audience for my site, no one from china or india, guaranteed. I keep getting these *.cn spammers. I would like to be able to ban them but wildcards don't work. Anyone know of a trick or a mod I could use? I have all kinds of countermeasures in place but some still get through.

You can to a website such as http://www.blockacountry.com/index.php and generate a list of IP addresses for any country you choose.
You then go your vBulletin Options and go to User Banning Options and enter those IP addresses into the Banned IP addresses box. It's not 100% foolproof, but it's been working well for my forum. ![]() |
