Default is_member_of wont work!

man this is driving me nuts. im using a template that is being pulled by vbadvanced cpms. i want some text that is only viewable by supporting member group, and other text for non supporting member group.

i have tryed the <if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, ID1, ID2, ID3,.....)">

and it just wont work no matter what i do. can anyone give some help on this issue. thank you very much.

is_member_of does work instead bbuserinfo doesn't !!

try this

Code:
<if condition="is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 1, 2, 3)">......</if>
refer to link in my signature for conditionals list

$bbuserinfo rather than $vbulletin->userinfo is correct - however, it could be something else depending on how the template is being called.

Questions regarding modifications should be asked in the thread/board/site from which you downloaded.

Seeing as you are not using a default vBulletin page you need to contact the authors of the custom page on which you are using it for assistance.

All templates can be affected by the PHP code around them, this doesn't sound like a template issue as your code would work fine under normal circumstances.

As for where to ask, the answer is in your initial post.

Ask at the vBadvanced site.

It is a general recommendation that you post from where you downloaded the modification, it is impossible for us to know the code behind each and every modification. Therefore to make it easier and quicker for you, people are instructed to post in the modification thread as the authors are the ones who will know how to advise you best.

Regards
