i want to use php in the header so i can show the latest news on my website and stuff...
but the code of vbulletin is so complex... where exactly can i do that? hopy u guys can help me and that it's possible ![]() |

The vBulletin code is not complex, it is simply HTML like any other web page.
You can edit the appropriate template to make changes as you desire. If you want to add information at the top, try the header template. |

html is no problem...
but it's php i want to use ![]() on the top of the forum i wanna place a banner and the latest news and stuff that's stored in a database... but how can i do that.......... |

within styles there is a Header Include text box, its the very top box.
it has some bits of PHP that are commented out. Add the php code there. Like $news=virtual("/news/news.txt"); and you can use $news in your templates or the header. |
