Vbulletin Spammers
So the other day I was on my lunch break at work. I decided I'd login to my website from my IPhone and see whats going on. Well... I had spam from one forum to another. I had it so you didn't have to enter a capatcha, at first so that was the main reason I assume. Anyways, I figured out where all the spam was coming from and it seems this guy is running spam from here using a vbulletin spam script. http://www.gloriousaham.com/aham8/ Any way possible of getting the site taken down or what?

what do you want vb.org to do about it?
I understand your frustration, but are you asking for help stopping spam? because vb.org wouldn't have the power to shut down any site. btw.. my url is on that list |

Basically any vb board that is in google is on that list.
It seems they are now going after http://ecircleoflight.org/ It may be best to IP block this site. It is pretty strange to have access to a spammers site like this and see how easy it is to generate vbulletin accounts and spam those forums. I wonder how they get passed CAPTHA. |

Install the Force user to read and accept rule hack in conjuction with reCAPTCHA or Question & Answer methods and you should be good to go.
The bots can't get around the forced rule read and accept add-on. Doesn's stop them from signing up though. |
