Well I am running RC1 and only could re-up RC3's cron.php file. Sense i have done that the scheduled tasks still do not work but i am not receiving anymore errors about that file in the error_log. I'm also now able to set permissions for the file, they are set to 644. Still nothing..

Have you tried to run them all manually to get the Next Time to be a time in the future?

Yup. They don't. If you edit them then save the time updates but it never runs, and the time just elapses.

You have an active forum, right? (The cron jobs will only run if someone hits a page.) Make sure the cron folder has the correct permissions also.

I think you need to look in your error_logs. I went to your site and kept clicking around and every single page I went to tried to run the cron.php job. That is very unusual. So, it is trying to run, but something has been done to prevent it. Either the cron.php page has the wrong permissions to run, or the cron jobs themselves have the wrong permissions, or... I'm sure there is probably another reason. But, I'd check your permissions for your files and directory and also make sure all the files are uploaded properly.

What does your Scheduled Task Log say? When was the last entry that you didn't manually run yourself entered?

To troubleshoot this, please create a new Style with no Parent set.
Now browse the forum using this new style, refresh the forumhome page a few times (let the page first load fully). Next check if your Scheduled Tasks start running again. |
