When you view a forum, there's two lines going vertically. which have icons that look like this:

Why would you want to remove them? They are visual cue's for users to tell them whether they have posted in threads, whether threads are new or whether threads are closed and much more. I recommend you leave them as they are because they improve the speed at which people can browse forums easily. I'd be pretty annoyed if they were remove from forums I visit, it would probably mean that I don't end up visiting them as often.
You can try the threadbit template and just comment them out or something. |
