Postbit

I have looked at about 4 or 5 template mods to try and get the personal information in each post to be in a coloumn on the right of the post, but i cannot figure it out. I input all the codes directly and correct just as i am instructed to do, but nothing shows up on the posts. nothing even changes. I am using 3.6.8 Blak-Ice style and i really need some help, i asked for help in the correct threads were this information was located but i was not answered so can anybody else help me or point me in the correct direction? Thank you.

Are you modifying the correct postbit? If the userinfo on your site is to the left, modify postbit_legacy, if it's on the top, modify postbit.

If the www.projekt-black.net is the one your refering to, your using the postbit template. As Lynne points out, if you want to have your avatars and user information on the left side, you need to switch your forum to the display the postbit_legacy template.

I believe he asked to have it on the RIGHT, not the left, changing --> vbulletin options --> style & language --> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template to yes, you will then need to recode the postbit_legacy template to then change it from the left side of the post to the right side of the post.

From what I understand from the first post... he found a mod and is changing the postbit to modify what it looks like. But, even though he is doing changes, nothing is showing up. So, my guess is he is modifying the postbit when he has hit site set to use postbit_legacy or he is modifying postbit_legacy when his site is set to use postbit. So, he needs to either change what his site is set to use, or make the changes to the other postbit template. That was my understanding of the problem.

My site went down again, so I can't check there, but the manual says it's Admin CP >>> vBulletin Options >>>> vBulletin Options >>> Style & Language Settings >>> Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template

Thank you so much, i have found it, but how can i edit out some of the things? i dont want the user ID to show and also, the amount of reputation points. please help?

Those things don't show by default, so maybe if you post the template here and tell us what you want to get rid of, we can tell you what part of the template to edit out.

here is the template, i want to edit out how it shows the users ID, also the amount of reputation points the user has, also if its possible, could i add something to it?
