Hi all,
Just need some confirmation on this. Say if I offered users the ability to not see ads when every other member does. Would I first need to create a new usergroup (use it as their secondary group), then use some conditionals in front of the ads to show it everyone except that group? Any ideas on which code I would use? Also, if they had to pay yearly, could I use the subscriptions to tell me when their year is up, or is that not possible? Thank you. Regards Jason ![]() |

just make a subscriptions usergroup and move your donators to that group so they dont see the adverts. Not sure why you would want to use a secondary usergroup - just move them to their own and base their access of the default registered usergroup.
Now that means you want to show adverts to registered users (default group 2) <if condition="is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 2) || is_member_of($vbulletin->userinfo, 4) "> Adsense code here </if> the code inbetween would only be shown to users who are in group 2 or group 4 - you can change the groups to match your own. |

Thanks for your reply. Well, I'm not too familiar with the paid subsciptions, since I've never used it.
Does this let me know when their year is up, or not? I'm guessing it does, since you can set the subscription length. Are you notified by email? I currently have a donators group, where I put the donators they get some extra features, ect. If I set up a subscriptions group, will that donator group be their primary usergroup, so they can get them extra features? Regards Jason ![]() |

not to sure if it lets u know by email if their subs run out as it justs auto moves them back to the usergroup they where in once before they where upgraded.
Just give your donators all the extras etc and anyone who subscribes get it to move them to that group. |

Ok, thanks! I think I'll do some coding, so that it tells me when their subscription runs out in X days.
