Hi,
Is there any reason why I shouldn't install vBulletin in the root directory of our web site instead of a sub directory like '/forums' ? The site isn't going to be used for anything else other than the forum. Thanks, Kevin |

Put it in the main directory then. I do this on a ton of sites.

You can install in the root without problems. It is often suggested to install in a sub-directory as that makes it easier to manage the files or add new functions (seperate homepage, other products) later.
