Private Team Forums
Hi
I run a website that already exists, and I'm integrating into vBulletin. My site has different teams that members can create, and I want them to have their own private forum. The problem I'm running into is setting up the permissions. It seems that to make a forum private, I have to deny access to it to all usergroups, and then give access to the correct usergroup. This seems overkill to me (it inserts a DB entry for every team for every board, so 5 teams creates 25 db entries). Is there a way to setup the initial board so by default nobody can access it, and then I can just give access to the one team? I would think this would be possible, but I've been looking at code for a while and so I'm probably missing something brutally obvious - just point it out please =P Tim |
