hi friends ..
yesterday i was upgrade my vb from 3.7 Beta 5 to 3.7 Beta 6.... now i have 2 news in my admincp but i don't know what it say please help me about news 2 ------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- vBulletin News: Google CodeSearch & vBulletin Zip Files It has come to our attention that Google's new 'Code Search' system has been finding a number of vBulletin zip files uploaded on various customers' sites and publishing the script contents, including sensitive data such as customer and license numbers. Please, do not leave your vBulletin zip/tar.gz files or site backups in a web-accessible location! If you do not ensure that your vBulletin zips are protected, not only are you leaking your own personal data, but you will also be in violation of the vBulletin license agreement by allowing your copy of the software to be downloaded by unauthorized parties. Please note that this message is being broadcast to all vBulletin customers and is not specifically targetted at you or your site. |

That message has been there for a long time. Basically, as long as you don't have the file you downloaded from the Members' Area on your server, you're fine. This is only referring to the .zip file, and not the files you uploaded inside of that .zip.

It's just a FYI. It's not aimed at you or your site, and is being broadcasted to all vBulletin users. You can press the "Dismiss" button and it won't show again.

Pushing the dismiss button should remove it completely. If that doesn't work, it would seem that your installation isn't keeping it's records correctly. vB.com would be able to help you.
