Automatic New User Intro Thread Creation

Hello All,

I just searched for abuot 30 minutes and was unable to find something like this (I did find a lot of people asking for something like this, but no solutions).

Anyways, is there a hack or mod out there that would do this? I just want a Thread created in the "Introductions" forum after a person registers on the site. I also would like to edit the text in this thread (of course), and who the thread is started by.

If there is a link to something like this that already exists, I would be grateful if you showed me the way.
