I have a couple of members that use AOL. Out of the 13 IP's one has used, when you click in the admin panel, "Others that have used this IP" the same 2 people keep showing up. One claims to be from Michigan, the other West Virginia. What are the chances of this happening on a proxy server?

That could easily happen with AOL users, they change IP addresses constantly, so they may have been assigned the same address, just at different times.

The only way of finding out if it is feasable for these two states to show up on the same AOL-IP is to find out what states the IP-Blocks actually cover. That may be more difficult than it sounds, maybe impossible without assistance from AOL (unlikely). Another way to find out is to install a cookie when they connect, and see if both individuals are sharing the same physical machine. AE Detector may be of assistance, but still may now give you an answer. |

That you so much for the replies. I'll try that AE Detector and go from there. Thanks again.
