"Current Members" field in "What's Going On"

Is there a modification available (for 3.6 (or compatible with 3.7)) for adding a Current Members field into the What's Going On fields at the bottom of the forum Index page? And if not, can someone create one please?

This would be a shortcut to all members (or active members) profile pages, listing every official member on your forum site, hidden or not.

This would also make the horribly cumbersome Members List pages obsolete by providing easy access to the members of the forum on the Forumhome itself.
